Even though Italian is one of the four national languages of Switzerland, I can barely understand or speak it. But some Italian music reaches my soul and I have the feeling that I know exactly what the songs are all about. Lucio Dalla is a true master when it comes to singing and composing. His self-titled record from 1979 was already his eight studio album. Maybe he named this record after him, because he knew it's his best one. It is for sure in my humble opinion. Songs like ‘Anna e Marco’ or ‘Notte’ are among the greatest songs ever written, in any language. 🇮🇹
