Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds - Push The Sky Away (2013)
It's impossible for me to choose a favorite Nick Cave album. But ‘Push The Sky Away’ is a very good one, for sure.
And it's also an important one for me as a Swiss. I can relate to the song "Higgs Boson Blues" a lot, because I immediately see pictures of the Swiss motorways when I hear lines like "can't remember anything at all, but I'm driving my car down to Geneva". 🚗
How cool it is to imagine Nick Cave driving in his car through Switzerland! 😎 And even cooler: The Bad Seeds drummer Thomas Wydler was born and raised in my home town Zurich. Wydler is the longest-serving member of The Bad Seeds apart from Nick Cave. He's a part of the band since 1985. What he does on this album is just amazing. 🖤
