Covid-19 all over
Since this week it is official: the summer festivals in Switzerland are cancelled without replacement. And it is still unclear when concerts with an audience will be possible again. For the artists this means that an enormously important source of income has been lost. Spotify and YouTube won’t do the job. It's a real tragedy and direct help is needed right now.
Buying records was probably never more important than right now
Recording artists have put an enormous amount of time, money and work into their recordings and in the next not foreseeable time they will not be able to set up a merchandising table and sell their recordings due to the lack of concerts. And every musician knows that recorded music can often only be sold directly and cost-transparently at the concerts. Many musicians and other people from the music business need every help right now to be able to continue a dignified life.
