Today I rediscover one of my absolute favorite bands and listen to some of their records. 👌 What a great band they were!

I wouldn't call ‘Tallulah’ their best album, but it's still my The Go-Betweens album for the island. The record is very opulently orchestrated and not always perfect, but ‘Bye Bye Pride’ is on this album and that makes it irreplaceable. This song is a masterpiece of first class quality. And with ‘Hope Then Strife’ I always think the band should be called The Go-StraightToTheHearts. 🖤 This song gets me every time.
