Definitely top class: Disco Doom
If we had to agree on a favorite Swiss band (which fortunately we don't have to do), then it would probably be Disco Doom from Zurich. For more than 20 years this band has been doing their thing uncompromisingly.
Heavy guitars, great songs, intense performances and cool dynamics from minimal indie barock licks to huge walls of sound. They've created exceptional music and they've played with Dinosaur Jr. or toured with Build To Spill in Europe and the States for several times. Definitely top class!
Also absolutely great is the solo project of the two creative heads of the band, Anita Rufer and Gabriele De Mario. Under the project name J&L Defer they presented their debut in 2016.
We are very happy that we can now offer you some great music from Disco Doom and J&L Defer on vinyl in our shop.
