Acapulco Stage Divers: new album and video clip
Actually, there should have been a big evening at Bogen F in Zurich tomorrow. The local heroes of the Acapulco Stage Divers would have released their seventh record 'Bedrohte Art', played a passionate concert and celebrated their 20th anniversary …
… but it came differently. Due to Corona, the record release had to be cancelled.
But it is still very very necessary to celebrate this band properly!
Five guys, twenty years without interruption as a band together. That does not happen too often! A rare species. And nowadays in this individualization mania also more and more an endangered species - eine ‘Bedrohte Art’.
While the band has increased its audience in recent years with quieter folk tones, they now deliver their rawest and most direct album ever. The album embodies lived friendship, perseverance and a seemingly indestructible creative power. We at Sailing For Peace Records are very happy to be able to release this record. We have a long friendship with the band.
