2012: The absolute top albums from the last 50 years or just soundtracks of my life

For my personal experience, a real shitty year. I had to struggle with severe panic attacks, and much of what I thought was a fixed system of coordinates for me was shaken. But also this year was accompanied by great music.

In no particular order.

  • Bat For Lashes - The Haunted Man

  • Kendrick Lamar - Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City

  • Frank Ocean - Channel Orange

  • Cloud Nothings - Attack On Memory

  • Mac DeMarco - 2

  • alt-J - An Awesome Wave

  • Field Music - Plumb

  • Paul Buchanan - Mid Air

  • Lotus Plaza - Spooky Action At A Distance

I’m going to post the Top 9 albums of every year from the last 50 years.

One post every week!

If you like the albums and the songs, go check out the playlist on Spotify.
