1994: The absolute top albums from the last 50 years or just soundtracks of my life
The slow but increasingly definite separation from the parental record collection. A very formative year for me. If I had heard all those records on vinyl back then, the records would have all been heard until they were no longer audible and literally now transparent.
In no particular order.
Veruca Salt - American Thighs
Blumfeld - L’etat et moi
Tom Petty - Wildflowers
Pavement - Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain
Nas - Illmatic
Rödelheim Hartreim Projekt - Direkt Aus Rödelheim
Züri West - Züri West
dEUS - Worst Case Scenario
Portishead - Dummy
I’m going to post the top 9 albums of every year from the last 50 years. One post every week.
If you like the albums and the songs, go check out the playlist on Spotify.
