As you know, I have a thing for the 80s. For me, the second New Order album is one of the most interesting records of this era. Peter Saville's cover design looks lovely, but, like the album itself, wants to draw attention to the seductive moment of power, corruption and lies. I think this is ingeniously implemented. 💐 New Order deliver the best, because most coherent album of their career. It's an album about seduction and humanity. Every song is much more than just good. And the most beautiful piece of them all comes at the end: "Leave Me Alone". What an album! 🖤
