Flash track of the day: Massive Attack 'Protection'
Massive Attack - Protection (1994)
It may not be the best album of Massive Attack (my choice for this would be "Mezzanine"), but with ‘Protection’ this record contains not only my favorite song of the band, but also a very important song of my youth. This track often gave me support and protection. I've heard it over and over again on repeat. 🎧 The voice of Tracey Thorn touches me very deeply and I find the combo Massive Attack and Tracey Thorn simply unbeatable fitting. And Michel Gondry's video clip ingeniously translates the song into pictures.
