I knew her from MTV where she had songs like ‘Crucify’ and ‘Cornflake Girl’ on heavy rotation. 📺 And then I saw this album here on CD in my local record store right after the release. This was the first Tori Amos record that I've ever bought. 💸 She wrote all of the tracks, and for the first time, she served as sole producer for her own album. For Amos, the album was a step into a different direction, in terms of singing, songwriting, and recording, and is experimental in comparison to her previous work. This is the vinyl reissue from last year on two heavy-weight LPs. And it's still my choice for the island. 🤹‍♂️ Is it your favourite Tori Amos album, too?
